Breaking 34 Degrees Celsius, Bekasi and Jakarta are the Hottest Regions in Jabodetabek Today

JAKARTA - The weather in the Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi (Jabodetabek) regions on Thursday, June 18, is predicted to be dominated by cloudy to cloudy conditions with air temperatures ranging from 22 to 34 degrees Celsius.

The relatively stable weather conditions are expected to support community activities, although light rain is still potentially occurring in a number of areas in the afternoon and evening.

In the DKI Jakarta area, the weather is expected to be cloudy from morning to noon. The air temperature ranges from 25 to 34 degrees Celsius with a humidity level of between 55 to 90 percent.

Entering the afternoon, South Jakarta and East Jakarta have the potential to experience light rain, while Central Jakarta, West Jakarta, North Jakarta, and the Thousand Islands are likely to be cloudy until evening.

Meanwhile, the Bogor area is predicted to experience cloudy weather in the morning before light to moderate rain potentially falling in the afternoon and evening. The Puncak, Cisarua, and southern Bogor Regency areas still need to be aware of local rain that can cause slippery roads and reduce visibility. The air temperature in Bogor ranges from 22 to 30 degrees Celsius.

In Depok City, the weather is predicted to be cloudy throughout the day with an air temperature between 24 to 33 degrees Celsius. Light rain is potentially occurring in the afternoon to evening, especially in the border area with Bogor Regency.

The Tangerang area is expected to experience sunny to cloudy weather until noon with air temperatures ranging from 24 to 33 degrees Celsius.

Meanwhile, Bekasi is predicted to be one of the areas with the highest temperature in Jabodetabek, namely between 25 to 34 degrees Celsius, with cloudy weather in the afternoon to evening.

BMKG urges the public to maintain body condition and meet fluid needs while outdoors, especially when the air temperature reaches more than 30 degrees Celsius during the day. Drivers are also asked to increase vigilance against the potential for local rain that can cause slippery roads.

In general, the weather in Jabodetabek on Thursday is expected to be quite conducive for office activities, travel, and outdoor activities. However, the public is still advised to monitor the latest weather information to anticipate changes in atmospheric conditions that may occur at any time.
