West Aceh Regency Receives Return of Land Assets from the Teuku Umar Foundation
JAKARTA - The West Aceh Regency Government, Aceh, received the return of 35 hectares of land assets and land certificates from the Teuku Umar Johan Pahlawandengan Education Foundation with land located in Alue Peunyareng Village, Meureubo District.
"So the area was about 94 hectares, 50 hectares were given to the State Islamic Religious School (STAIN) Tengku Dirundeng Meulaboh, 14 hectares were given to the West Aceh Community Academy (AKN) and the remaining 35 hectares were handed over to the West Aceh Regency Government," said the Regent of West Aceh, Tarmizi, as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, June 17.
He explained that the foundation's land certificate document was previously stored and is currently officially handed over to the West Aceh Regency Government, while in the future the government will fix the management structure of the foundation.
"We will discuss the land, whether it is a grant to the local government or how," he said.
He said that his plan on the 35-hectare land would be built an integration school, including for the construction of the People's School.
"If later the President's program requires each district to have one integration school such as the People's School, the local government is ready," he said.
The West Aceh Regency Government has asked the public not to work on land owned by the local government, especially from the Alue Peunyareng area to the Ujong Tanoh Darat (UTD) Village area, Meureubo District.
The government does not want any legal problems later, due to the presence of people who work on government land, such as the case experienced by STAIN Teungku Dirundeng Meulaboh so far.
