Plane Crashes on Texas Highway, Residents Approach to Evacuate Victims Trapped

JAKARTA - A plane crashed and caught fire on a highway in Laredo, Texas, on Tuesday night, June 16 local time.

Quoting AP, Wednesday, June 17 WIB, the surrounding community including vehicle users who passed the crime scene immediately approached to try to break the cockpit window to save the victim trapped inside the plane.

An investigator with the Laredo Police Department said the plane went down in Laredo around 10 p.m.

There were no immediate reports of any casualties or injuries from the crash site on Loop 20.

Loop area until now local time has been closed from both directions.

The video uploaded online shows the plane in an oblique position, hitting the highway divider.
