Suzuki Spreads New Car Teaser, XL7 Facelift Launched at GIIAS 2026?

JAKARTA - Suzuki Indonesia seems to be preparing new ammunition to continue to excite the national automotive market. This is based on the upload on its official Instagram social media.

From VOI's observation, Wednesday, July 17, the @suzuki_id page upload spread a short video teaser that revealed a small part of the new car or facelift version of this Japanese brand.

"A new chapter will unfold. Are you ready to embrace it with us?," the post reads.

Many thought that the model that was predicted to be launched at GIIAS was the latest XL7. Previously, a camera had caught a test unit wrapped in a camouflage sticker.

Meanwhile, the matching of the image shared by the light bulb in the teaser image with the rumors circulating, the front face sector is expected to undergo the most significant overhaul. The XL7 facelift character is predicted to adopt an installation of a front grille or air grille with a larger and more dominant size than the model currently marketed.

The design of the main lamp house seems to have been revised to be narrower to pursue a modern impression, while the front bumper arrangement is expected to get a new curve that is more robust to emphasize the adventurous aura.

From the heart, it is predicted to be the same, packing a 1,500 cc 4-cylinder K15B engine. The drive system has the potential to remain coupled with Suzuki's Smart Hybrid Vehicle by Suzuki (SHVS) smart technology.

Of course, it is very much anticipated that Suzuki will make a new breakthrough for the Indonesian market.
