The 2024 Presidential Election Is Predicted To Have 3 Paslons, Here's The Map Of The Coalition

JAKARTA - The presidential election (Pilpres) in 2024 is predicted to be followed by more than two pairs of candidates. The NasDem Party has even made plans to open a presidential candidate convention in order to present a quality candidate pair.

Responding to this possibility, a political observer from UIN Syarif Hidayatullah, Adi Prayitno, assessed that three pairs of candidates could be presented in the 2024 presidential election, although currently the political dynamics are still very dynamic.

"If you look at the composition of the party's strength, there are three candidate pairs that can advance," said Adi Prayitno, Thursday, June 9.

Meanwhile, the three Paslons consist of the PDIP-Gerindra coalition that carries Prabowo-Puan or Ganjar-Sandi. Then, there is the Democrat-PKS plus NasDem who will carry Anies-AHY.

Then the Golkar, PKB, PPP coalition could nominate Airlangga-Muhaimin Iskandar or Airlangga-Ridwan Kamil.

"While PAN is more flexible, it can enter all blocks," continued the Executive Director of Indonesian Political Parameters.

Previously, NasDem Party politician Saran Mustofa believed that the 2024 presidential election would be better if more than three pairs of candidates participated.

According to him, with a presidential threshold of 20 percent, the 2024 presidential election is very possible to present three pairs of vice presidential candidates.

"The assumption is that there can be five pairs of candidates, so if three pairs of presidential candidates it is very possible," said Saan, Thursday, June 9.
