Received PNBP Rp1.02 Trillion from Kejaksaan, Purbaya Reveals State Rights Are Not Lost Even Though Time Has Passed
JAKARTA - Minister of Finance Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa symbolically received a Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) of IDR 1,029,874,376,628 from the results of the recovery of state assets by the Asset Recovery Agency (BPA) of the Attorney General's Office of the Republic of Indonesia.
The handover was carried out by Attorney General ST Burhanuddin in the BPA Fair 2026 activity at the Office of the Attorney General's Asset Recovery Agency, South Jakarta, on Monday, June 15.
The state revenue is the result of various asset recovery efforts carried out by the Attorney General's Office, including the results of asset auctions at the BPA Fair 2026, the search for assets in the form of land and buildings, and the return of assets from corruption cases, including the Edi Tansil case.
The PNBP received by the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) consists of the results of the BPA Fair 2026 auction of Rp978.1 billion, the results of the search for land and building assets worth Rp30.9 billion, and the results of the search for assets of the convicted corruption case Edi Tansil in the form of money of Rp51.6 billion. In addition, the results of the auction were also handed over to the victim for Rp19.1 billion.
Purbaya expressed his appreciation to the Attorney General's Office, especially the Asset Recovery Agency, for the success in returning assets that are the right of the state.
According to him, this success reflects that law enforcement is not only oriented towards punishing perpetrators of criminal acts, but also ensuring the recovery of state losses through the optimization of asset recovery.
"Asset recovery is an important part of efforts to maintain state finances. Every asset that is successfully returned becomes an additional state revenue that can ultimately be used to support financing for development and services to the community," he said in a statement, Monday, June 15.
He also highlighted the success of the return of assets in the Edi Tansil corruption case which has been going on for decades.
According to him, this achievement shows that the state's right to assets derived from criminal acts will not be lost by the passage of time.
"The case of Edi Tansil reminds us that state losses should not be a thing of the past without resolution. Whoever harms the state, for as long as we will pursue. Time may pass, but the state's rights must not be lost," he said.
Furthermore, Purbaya emphasized that the success of asset recovery is the result of strong synergy between government agencies in maintaining and saving state finances.
He added that the collaboration allows assets that were previously lost or could not be recovered to be secured again and used for the benefit of the country.
Purbaya said his party was committed to managing all state revenues, including those from asset recovery, in an orderly, transparent, and accountable manner in accordance with legal regulations.
According to him, good management is expected to further strengthen the country's fiscal capacity in supporting national development and improving people's welfare.
In the future, he added, his party will continue to strengthen synergy with the Attorney General's Office Asset Recovery Agency and all stakeholders to optimize asset recovery and financial rescue of the state.
