German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier Arrives in Jakarta, Begins State Visit to Indonesia

JAKARTA - The President of the Federal Republic of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier and his wife Elke Büdenbender arrived in Jakarta on Monday, June 15, 2026, for a state visit to Indonesia. The plane carrying President Frank-Walter landed at the Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, Jakarta, at around 09.20 WIB, and was greeted by a number of officials from both countries.
