NTT DATA and Google Cloud Prepare 500 AI Agents for Business Transformation

NTT DATA is expanding its collaboration with Google Cloud to help companies accelerate the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) from the trial stage to large-scale implementation through an agent AI solution built using Gemini Enterprise.

This partnership will combine the expertise of each company, such as AI, data, and cloud technology from Google Cloud, as well as NTT DATA's expertise in strategy, implementation, and managed services.

The main focus is to help companies integrate AI into core business processes to increase productivity, accelerate business achievement, and ensure responsible AI governance and security.

The integrated team consists of NTT DATA experts and Google Cloud engineers who work side by side to prototype, develop, and expand the implementation of high-value use cases.

NTT DATA's CEO and Chief AI Officer, Abhijit Dubey, said that companies need a more practical approach to expanding AI adoption while generating measurable business value.

"This expansion of the partnership between Google Cloud and NTT DATA helps customers go beyond the trial stage and integrate AI into the way their organizations operate, thereby creating a faster and less risky path to enterprise transformation," said Abhijit.

As part of the cooperation, NTT DATA will establish a global scale Gemini Enterprise service unit. The company also targets the creation of 5,000 certified Gemini Enterprise experts around the world to support the implementation of AI in various sectors.

NTT DATA and Google Cloud are also preparing a development roadmap for up to 500 AI agents that can be used for various business needs, both across functions and industry-specific.

This solution is aimed at accelerating digital transformation in the banking, insurance, manufacturing, retail sectors, as well as business functions such as marketing, procurement, and finance.

President and Chief Revenue Officer of Google Cloud, Matt Renner, said that this expansion was a response to the increasing demand for AI agents, because it was considered capable of fundamentally transforming business workflows.

"By developing hundreds of AI agents and training thousands of experts, NTT DATA ensures that customers with us have the specialist resources needed to implement advanced AI solutions on a global scale," concluded Matt.
