DBL and Aqua Strengthen the Student Ecosystem through the DBL Dance Competition Season 2026/2027

DBL Indonesia officially collaborated with Aqua ahead of the 2026/2027 season.

This cooperation not only presents Aqua as a hydration partner in all DBL activities, but also as the main partner of DBL Dance, one of the largest student dance competitions in Indonesia.

This collaboration is a strategic step in supporting the activities of young people who are active in achieving success, both in the field of sports and performing arts.

For more than two decades, DBL has built an ecosystem of student competitions through basketball leagues and various supporting programs involving thousands of students from across Indonesia.

DBL Indonesia Director Masany Audri assessed that Aqua's presence is very relevant to the character of participants who are in the DBL ecosystem.

According to him, students who are involved in basketball and dance competitions need excellent physical condition to support their activities.

"Hopefully next season this league will feel fresher. Of course this collaboration is very relevant to support the needs of young people to work and express themselves," said Masany in Jakarta, Saturday, June 13.

He added that maintaining hydration was an important aspect for participants who underwent various intensive activities during the competition.

"Children at DBL are a very active generation. They train hard on the field, prepare the best performance on stage, to provide full support from the stands. In activities like this, maintaining hydration is important," said Masany.

DBL Dance continues to show significant development from season to season.

This competition is now one of the most prestigious student dance events in the country, involving hundreds of teams and more than 10,000 participants each year.

The popularity of DBL Dance is also proven by the achievement of the Indonesian World Record Museum (MURI) record in 2018 as a dance competition with the largest number of participants in Indonesia.

The presence of Aqua is expected to further strengthen the implementation of the competition as well as support the performance of the participants during the various stages of the competition.

Aqua's Marketing Director, Adisti Nirmala, said that the cooperation with DBL is a form of support for young people who are active in working and competing in the school environment.

"We want to be a support system for young people who continue to strive to give the best version of themselves through DBL," said Adisti.

According to him, the spirit of collaboration between Aqua and DBL is in line with efforts to build healthy living habits as well as helping young people face various challenges and pressures in daily activities.

In addition to being a competition, DBL Dance has also produced many talents who are now active in the national entertainment industry, including Dita Karang and Christy Gardena from the No Na group.

Valencia Stephanie Hadasaah, an alumnus of the DBL Dance participant from IPEKA Puri Jakarta High School, admitted that the competition provided valuable experiences that went beyond just a race.

"The atmosphere of the DBL Dance competition is festive. We are proud to perform in front of many spectators and to be part of DBL. Because, in addition to competing, we also get a lot of valuable experience and meet new friends from various schools," he said.

With the support of Aqua as the main partner of DBL Dance, the 2026/2027 season is expected to further strengthen the position of this competition as a platform for the development of creativity, expression, and achievements of the Indonesian young generation.
