Partnering with Glencore, RMKE Targets to Sell 3.8 Million Tons of Coal Throughout 2026

JAKARTA - PT RMK Energy Tbk (RMKE) announced a partnership with Glencore, one of the world's largest global commodities companies.

Vincent Saputra, President Director of PT RMK Energy Tbk explained, this cooperation includes a coal purchase and sale agreement which is projected to contribute significantly to the company's performance growth.

"This synergy is a strategic step for RMKE to expand market reach and optimize the coal sales business line in addition to logistics services, which are the Company's main strengths," said Vincent, Saturday, June 13.

Until the period of March 2026, the realization of this cooperation has shown positive results. Glencore has contributed 21.14 percent of the total sales revenue of coal RMKE in the first quarter of this year.

"In 2026, with well-integrated infrastructure and the addition of new clients from the sales segment, RMKE targets to sell a total of 3.8 million tons of coal," continued Vincent.

Going forward, RMKE is committed to continuing to collaborate strategically with various parties to strengthen the Company's position as a key player in the energy supply chain in Indonesia.

"With logistics integration from upstream to downstream, RMKE can support government programs in terms of energy security with competitive logistics costs. We believe that efficient logistics costs will greatly support the current government energy sector policy, while increasing the competitiveness of national industries," concluded Vincent.
