Korpasgat Asah Combat Capabilities Through Night Shooting Training

JAKARTA - The Rapid Deployment Force (Korpasgat) of the Indonesian Air Force held a night shooting exercise to sharpen the combat capabilities of the troops in all fields.

The night shooting exercise was carried out by the Air Defense Artillery Regiment (Arhanud) 2 Pasgat troops together with the Arhanud Battalion 23 Pasgat at the Atmaji Shooting Field of Sultan Hasanuddin Air Base, South Sulawesi, on Wednesday (10/6) evening.

In a press release from the Korpasgat Information Office received in Jakarta, Saturday, it was explained that the exercise was led by the Commander of the Arhanud 2 Pasgat Regiment, Colonel Pas Dadang Hermawan.

"The activity was attended by all joint shooter personnel from the Arhanud 2 Pasgat Regiment and the Arhanud 23 Pasgat Battalion," said the Kopasgatitu press release.

During the exercise, the troops used long-barreled weapons SS1 V1 and SS2 V2 equipped with night vision goggles (NVG), ear muff, magazines, magazines, and other supporting equipment.

The shooting exercise started at 19.40 to 21.20 WITA and was followed by evaluation and joint unloading of weapons.

"The activity went smoothly and safely because all personnel followed the applicable safety standards," said the press release.

With this exercise, Korpasgat hopes that all troops have good shooting skills, so that they are ready to be deployed in defense or offensive missions.
