State Presence, BPJS Employment Submits Rp163 Million Compensation to PT Sun Bright Lestari Workers

JAKARTA - BPJS Employment Jakarta Cilincing Branch Office continues to be committed to strengthening relations with the companies it has built, while ensuring that workers' rights are met in accordance with the provisions. One of them is through Customer Relationship Management (CRM) activities, as well as the symbolic handover of benefits at the PT Sun Bright Lestari office in Indramayu, West Java, on Friday, June 12.

This activity was attended directly by the Head of the BPJS Employment Jakarta Cilincing Branch Office, Rita Mariana, accompanied by the Head of the Service Section, as well as the Special Account Representative. The presence of BPJS Employment was warmly welcomed by the management and representatives of PT Sun Bright Lestari.

In this activity, BPJS Employment handed over a symbolic death of the Occupational Accident Insurance (JKK) benefit on behalf of Mila workers. The total compensation given to the heirs reached Rp. 163,357,152, with details: Periodic Compensation Rp. 12,000,000, Funeral Costs Rp. 10,000,000, Death Compensation Rp. 139,692,192, Old Age Insurance (JHT) Rp. 1,089,600, and Pension Insurance (JP) Rp. 575,360.

Head of the BPJS Employment Jakarta Cilincing Branch Office, Rita Mariana, expressed her deep condolences to the family of the late Mila. He emphasized that the allowance provided was a tangible manifestation of the state's presence in providing basic protection for workers.

"We express our deepest condolences for the passing of the late Mila. The risks of work can happen anytime and anywhere. Our presence today is to ensure that the rights of the deceased are fully handed over to the heirs as a form of protection responsibility from the state," said Rita.

This CRM activity, added Rita, is also aimed at building a more solid communication with the employer. Through this collaboration, it is hoped that the bond with the training company will be stronger, as well as increasing awareness of the importance of the employment social security program.
