Commissioner of PT YAT Becomes New Suspect in Alleged Corruption Case of MBG Program
JAKARTA - The Attorney General's Office has again appointed a new suspect in the case of alleged corruption in the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) program management. This time, the investigators of the Attorney General's Office for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) appointed Commissioner of PT Yasa Artha Trimanunggal (YAT), Andri Mulyono (AM) as a suspect.
Director of Investigation (Dirdik) of the Attorney General's Office, Syarief Sulaeman Nahdi, said the determination of the suspect was made after investigators examined Andri as a witness and found at least two sufficient evidence.
"We, the investigating team at Jampidsus today, examined one witness on behalf of Brother AM as Commissioner of PT YAT. After undergoing a series of examinations and based on two sufficient evidence, the investigating team appointed Brother AM as Commissioner of PT YAT as a suspect," Syarief told reporters, Friday, June 12, 2026.
After being named a suspect, Andri was immediately detained for the next 20 days at the Salemba Detention House Branch of the South Jakarta District Attorney's Office.
Syarief explained that the case began in early 2025 when Andri, who served as commissioner and controller of PT YAT, met with Lodewyk Pusung (LP), who was then Deputy Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN). In the meeting, Andri presented his company's profile with the aim of obtaining a procurement project for goods in the BGN environment.
After the meeting, Andri obtained information regarding the plan to procure electric motorcycles to support the operation of the MBG program. Investigators suspect that since February 2025, Andri has actively communicated with the Commitment Maker Official (PPK) to follow up on the project, even though the procurement process has not started.
"Brother AM has been actively communicating with the PPK since February 2025 to follow up on the procurement plan," said Syarief.
In fact, PT YAT at that time had not met the requirements as a vendor for the procurement of electric motorcycles because it did not have an active dealer or workshop.
To facilitate the steps to win the project, Andri is suspected of working with someone with the initials AA by acquiring PT ASE and maintaining active communication with a number of parties involved in the procurement process.
"That then Brother AM illegally since February 2025 has actively communicated with the PPK to follow up on the procurement plan," he said again.
In addition, investigators found allegations of price inflation or mark up in the procurement of electric motorcycles. The price of each unit of electric motorcycle was allegedly raised to approach the budget ceiling that had been available.
According to Syarief, this practice is suspected to have been conditioned since the preparation of the Estimated Own Price (HPS) and the Work Reference Framework (KAK) which involves the BGN party together with the suspect.
"Brother AM illegally inflated the price for each unit of electric motorcycle with the aim of approaching the ceiling available in the procurement," he said.
Not only that, Andri was also suspected of receiving a full payment of 100 percent based on the handover report which had been manipulated. In the document, the assembly of electric motorcycles seemed to have been completed and according to specifications.
"Even though the price and specifications of the electric motorcycle are not in accordance with the standards of goods and BGN needs," said Syarief.
For his actions, Andri is suspected of violating Articles 603 and 604 of the Criminal Code.
Previously, the Attorney General's Office had previously named four suspects in the alleged corruption case of the MBG program management. They are former Head of BGN Dadan Hindayana, former Deputy Head of BGN Sony Sonjaya, former Deputy Head of BGN Lodewyk Pusung, and Asep Yusuf Somantri (AYS) who is referred to as Sony's confidant.
During the investigation, the Attorney General's Office suspected that the MBG program, which should be managed by a foundation that has a relationship with the beneficiary school, was actually run by a number of Nutrition Fulfillment Service Units (SPPG) which were suspected of having links with BGN officials.
These foundations are said to not meet the requirements as SPPG partners, but are still given the opportunity to manage programs that use state budgets.
Investigators also found allegations of price inflation in a number of procurements of supporting goods for MBG. The goods that were allegedly marked up included 21,801 units of electric motorcycles worth Rp.1.03 trillion, 32,000 pairs of shoes, 31,994 units of tablets, and 5,400 units of 75-inch televisions. All of these procurements are currently still being investigated in the Attorney General's investigation process.
