UI BEM Demo, Several Transjakarta Routes Changed to Cut Routes

JAKARTA - PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) has adjusted the operation of a number of bus routes due to the protest that took place in the Sudirman-Thamrin area to around the DPR/MPR building.

The closure of a number of road sections and traffic congestion at the action point made the red plate transportation operator shift, shorten, and even temporarily stop some services to keep operations running.

The Head of the Public Relations and CSR Department of Transjakarta said that the adjustment of the service was temporary and would be evaluated according to the traffic conditions on the ground.

"We urge customers to adjust their travel time and monitor the latest service information through the official Transjakarta channel so that travel remains comfortable and smooth," said Ayu in a statement, Friday, June 12.

A number of routes that temporarily do not serve customers include 1N Tanah Abang-Blok M, 1P Senen-Blok M, 1B Palmerah Station-Tosari, 6A Ragunan-Monas via Kuningan, and BW4 Pencakar Langit.

On Corridor 1, the Blok M-Kota service is temporarily rerouted due to the closure of roads in the Sudirman-Thamrin area. Meanwhile, via Corridor 9 and does not serve the Kebon Sirih Stop / s to the Polda Metro Jaya Stop.

Then on Corridor 9 with the route Pinang Ranti - Pluit experienced a track shift. Some of the fleet heading to Pluit operates through the Petamburan Toll Road and does not serve the Youth Gate and Petamburan Stops.

Route 9D Pasar Minggu-Tanah Abang has been diverted. For the Tanah Abang direction, it does not serve the Bendungan Hilir Bus Stop until Pospol Jati Bundar. Meanwhile, the Pasar Minggu direction does not serve the Serong Bridge Bus Stop until Bendungan Hilir.

In addition, Transjakarta also made route modifications on Corridor 1 Block M-Kota and Corridor 9 Pinang Ranti-Pluit. Track diversion is also applied to the 9D Pasar Minggu-Tanah Abang route, 4B Manggarai Station-UI, D21 Universitas Indonesia-Lebak Bulus, to Jak120 Tanah Abang Terminal-Senen. - Route 4C: JIEP - Senayan Roundabout experienced a deviation of the route into JIEP - Suropati Park due to the closure of the road in the Sudirman-Thamrin area. - Route 8N: Kebayoran - Petamburan via Asia Afrika experienced a deviation of the route due to the closure of the road around the MPR/DPR Building. While not serving the City Hall Stop / d Karet. - Route 6B: Ragunan - City Hall via Semanggi experienced a deviation of the route into Ragunan - Semanggi due to the closure of the road in the Sudirman-Thamrin area. While not serving the City Hall Stop / d Karet. - Route 6D: St Tebet - Senayan Roundabout experienced a deviation of the route due to the closure of the road in the Sudirman-Thamrin area. While not serving the Plaza Sentral Stop / d Jl Karet Baru Timur. - Route 6V: Blok M - Ancol experienced a deviation of the route into Ancol - Petamburan due to the closure of the road in the DPR/MPR Building area.

Changes to the route on route 6B Ragunan - City Hall via Semanggi towards City Hall were also carried out, which was diverted through Petamburan.

Meanwhile, a number of services experienced a deviation in the route due to the closure of roads in the Sudirman-Thamrin area and around the DPR/MPR complex.
