Ministry Of Religion Gets WTP From BPK, Yaqut Cholil: Don't Be Satisfied, There's Still A Long Way To Go

JAKARTA - The Indonesian Ministry of Religion (Kemenag) has again won the title of Unqualified (WTP) from the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) for the fifth time in a row since 2016.

WTP itself is the highest assessment from the BPK on the fairness of presenting the financial statements of ministries/state institutions. Responding to this achievement, the Minister of Religion (Menag) RI, Yaqut Cholil Qoumas reminded his staff not to be complacent. Because, the Ministry of Religion must continue to focus on serving the community. "Don't be complacent, the road is still very long. The focus of @Kemenag_RI is excellent service for the community, what has been achieved so far is in order to serve the community. Indonesia," said Minister of Religion Yaqut via his Twitter account @YaqutCQoumas, quoted Thursday, June 9.

Minister of Religion Yaqut also reminded all his staff to have three new passions in managing the Ministry of Religion.

First, service management and bureaucratic governance including: Hajj and Umrah services, religious and religious education, and religious service centers. Second, strengthening religious moderation, one of which is strengthening religious literacy, culture of tolerance, and national values.

Third, brotherhood, which consists of caring for the brotherhood of people of the same religion, maintaining the brotherhood of fellow countrymen and countrymen and developing human brotherhood.

In addition, Yaqut has also set several priority programs. Namely, Revitalizing KUA, Islamic Boarding School Independence and Strengthening Religious Moderation.

In a subsequent tweet, Yaqut also emphasized that the public need not worry about the management of prospective pilgrims' hajj funds.
