Nana's House Robber Appeals After Sentenced to 7 Years in Prison
JAKARTA - Singer and actress Nana revealed her disappointment after the robbers of her house appealed the sentence she received. Previously, Nana's family home was robbed when a 30-year-old man entered her house and threatened with a gun.
The 1st Criminal Division of the Namyangju branch sentenced man A to seven years in prison. The prosecutor demanded 10 years in prison but the court sentenced him to seven years in prison.
"The victim felt pain both mentally and physically and asked for the applicable punishment. However, the court considered several factors such as the robbery that has not occurred and whether a weapon was used," the court said, launching Chosun.
Man A entered Nana's house in Guri, Gyeonggi, South Korea in November 2025. Nana and her mother managed to hold Man A until he was taken to the police station.
The prosecutor stated, "This is a serious crime when the defendant enters the house with a weapon and threatens the victim." However, the A party rejected several things.
"It's not a robbery but a theft. There is no evidence that the defendant carried a weapon in that condition," said A's party. He also said that although he was the one who robbed, he was injured due to Nana's attack.
Nana continued to attend the trial as a witness, even testifying about the condition she experienced after the incident.
"I thought I was fine, but it was like a trauma. I don't understand why the victim has to be bullied. It feels like being a victim repeatedly," Nana said in court.
Nana also responded to the news that the defendant had appealed the sentence he received. Through his Instagram account, he uploaded a piece of article regarding this matter.
"Waste of time... just laugh. Spirit!," wrote Nana.
