RUPST PTBA Decides to Remove Arsal and Promote Lt. Gen. TNI as CEO
JAKARTA - The Annual General Meeting of Shareholders of PT Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk (PTBA) decided to carry out a restructuring of the board of directors and commissioners.
The RUPST decided to remove Arsal Ismail as President Director and was replaced by Bambang Ismawan who previously served as President Commissioner and Independent Commissioner.
Quoted from the official website of PTBA, Bambang Ismawan is a graduate of the Military Academy in 1988.
Previously, Bambang also served as the Chief of Staff of the Indonesian National Army (TNI) (2023 - 2024) and Commander of the TNI Doctrine, Education, and Training Command (Dankodiklat) (2021 - 2023).
The Company also replaced the Director of Human Resources and Corporate Transformation, which was previously filled by Ihsanuddin Usman and is now occupied by Hennita Sitepu.
Meanwhile, the position of Commercial and Supply Chain Director was previously held by Verisca Hutanto, now replaced by Mochammad Rifqi Hari Muji.
To fill the vacancy of the position of President Commissioner, RUPST also appointed Ida Bagus Putu Dunia to replace Bambang Ismawan who was appointed as President Director.
