Happy with Paul Mescal, Gracie Abrams is afraid of losing the ability to write heartbroken songs

Gracie Abrams has been open about her concerns about the influence of her love life on her songwriting.

As is known, Abrams, known for his heartbreak songs such as "That's So True" and "I Love You, I'm Sorry", is currently in a relationship with Irish actor Paul Mescal.

The stable and happy relationship actually gave rise to its own fears, where the 26-year-old soloist was afraid that his ability to write heartbreak songs would be blunt.

"I was worried that feeling safe and stable would threaten my drive to write music," Abrams said in a recent interview with Vogue.

However, these concerns were successfully overcome thanks to the guidance of the producer and his loyal collaborator, Aaron Dessner. The band's personnel The National helped Abrams understand that musical inspiration does not always have to come from heartbreak or conflicts that are raging.

Now, Abrams is ready to prove his productivity through his third studio album titled "Daughter From Hell".

The album, which is scheduled to be released on July 17, will explore another side of her life, including reflections on adolescence and her relationship with her mother, instead of romance dramas.

The album "Daughter From Hell" itself is projected to continue the success of its predecessor album, "The Secret of Us" (2024), which successfully perched at number two on the Billboard 200 album chart and spawned five hit songs on the Billboard Hot 100.
