One Decade of Survival, the Empat Lawang Regency Government Again Receives WTP Opinion from BPK

EMPAT LAWANG - The Empat Lawang Regency Government (Pemkab) has again made a brilliant achievement in managing regional finances. The Empat Lawang Regency Government successfully maintained the Wajar Without Exception (WTP) opinion from the Indonesian Republic of Indonesia (BPK RI) Representative for South Sumatra.

The highest award for the Regional Government Financial Report (LKPD) for the 2025 Fiscal Year is very special. This is because this achievement completes the success of the Empat Lawang Regency Government in maintaining the WTP opinion for 10 consecutive times.

The report of the results of the inspection (LHP) was received directly by the Deputy Regent of Empat Lawang, A. Rifai, accompanied by the Regional Secretary (Sekda) Fauzan Khoiri Denin and his staff on Wednesday (10/6/2026).

Fruit of Synergy and Hard Work of All Regional Apparatus

The Regent of Empat Lawang, Fauzan Khoiri Denin, conveyed his deep appreciation for this historic achievement. According to him, this 10th WTP achievement is the fruit of hard work, dedication, and strong synergy from all regional devices.

"This achievement is the result of joint work in realizing transparent, accountable, and compliant financial governance," said Fauzan.

WTP is not the end goal, but a commitment to service.

On the other hand, Deputy Regent of Empat Lawang, A. Rifai, emphasized that the WTP opinion from the BPK is a great motivation for the local government. The goal is to continue to improve professionalism and transparency in providing services to the community.

Rifai reminded that the WTP opinion is not the ultimate goal of a government administration, but an important instrument to create a clean and accountable government.

"Hopefully, this 10th WTP achievement will be an encouragement for all levels of local government to continue to work professionally in serving the community, as well as encouraging the development of a more advanced and prosperous region," said A. Rifai.

With the achievement of one decade of WTP, Empat Lawang Regency has once again proven its consistency in maintaining the quality of budget management to support sustainable development in South Sumatra.
