BAHRAIN - Bahrain's Ministry of Interior said an 11-year-old girl suffered minor injuries from drone debris that fell after the air defense intercepted Iran's latest attack.

Vehicles were burned and houses were damaged in Hamad Town and the capital Manama due to falling debris, the ministry said in a post on X, Thursday, June 11.

Meanwhile, the US reportedly intercepted an Iranian missile fired in the area last night, but there does not seem to be any major damage or impact on US facilities at this time, according to a US official.

The situation in the region has heated up again after US President Donald Trump on Wednesday accused Tehran of stalling negotiations.

This led the United States to launch a large-scale attack on Iran. The Pentagon's Central Command announced on Wednesday, June 10, that they had launched an attack on Iran at the direction of the US supreme commander.

Meanwhile, Iran's Tasnim News Agency, citing military sources, reported that the Iranian Armed Forces were on alert for a possible US attack, and if it happened, Tehran would attack US targets in the Middle East.
