Titi Kamal and Andra Mashadi Become Husband and Wife in the Film "Laddaland Housing"

Titi Kamal and Andri Mashadi are the main actors in the film Laddaland Housing. Directed by Awi Suryadi, this film is an adaptation of a popular Thai horror film in 2011.

Both of them talked about their enthusiasm to join this film. As one of the iconic Asian horror films, they have watched the original film.

"I'm so happy that I can finally work together here. I feel so happy, I've been excited for a long time to be involved in the Ladda Land project. I've always wanted to be involved in Mas Awi's projects, thank God it happened," said Titi Kamal in a press conference teaser poster in South Jakarta on Thursday, June 11.

According to him, the film "Laddaland Housing" will show the emotional side of a struggling family. Later, the horror side shown is also different from the horror films that Awi Suryadi has made.

"I really like the film because it's atmospheric, right? It's like we can feel the family drama, the sadness, the stress, everything like that. So this Ladda Land project is really a project that I've been waiting for," explained Titi Kamal.

Andri Mashadi who had watched the original film remembered that Ladda Land was very scary. The film Ladda Land tells the story of a family who experienced terror after moving into their new home.

"I used to watch this movie when I was still in college in 2011, after watching it I couldn't sleep. Then I didn't expect that suddenly last year I was offered this film. So it's really like, wow, I'm really excited," said Andri Mashadi.

"I used to work with Mas Awi a long time ago, at that time I just played a small part, and here the role is even bigger so I'm very excited to work with Mas Awi. And I asked the other cast, there was Titi Kamal, there was Shakeel, there was Anantya, there was Mas Ajis, there was everyone else here, so it was really like I was really happy to be able to work with them," he said.

MD Pictures released a teaser trailer for the film "Laddaland Housing" showing the happiness of the Tomi (Andri Mashadi) family occupying their new home. When an incident occurs in the house, Tomi and the family experience terror.

In addition to the two, the film is also played by Anantya Kirana, Shakeel Fauzi, Laras Sardi, Sarah Tumiwa, Zidni Hakim, Adjis Doa Ibu, Kikky Dradjat Martha, and others.

The film "Laddaland Housing" will be shown in Indonesian cinemas starting April 13, 2026.
