Trump Urges Congress to Quickly Approve Additional Military Budget

JAKARTA - US President Donald Trump urged all Republican members of Congress to immediately submit and pass a draft additional budget reconciliation bill worth 350 billion US dollars for the US Department of Defense.

"I hereby call on the Republicans in Congress to immediately advance and pass the upcoming $350 billion Reconciliation Bill (Recon 3.0) - which at the request of our great Department of Defense - will also include The Save America Act," Trump wrote through the Truth Social platform.

Trump said Recon 3.0 was a necessary step to reach the total US military budget of 1.5 trillion US dollars.

According to him, the funds are needed for the modernization of the United States armed forces.

Trump said his country would develop a "Golden Dome" defense system, launch a "Golden Fleet" fleet, and strengthen air dominance through F-47 fighter jets and B-21 Raider bombers.

In addition, the US will also increase its ammunition stockpiles, as well as realize full dominance in the field of space and drone technology through the United States Space Force.

In addition to the defense budget, the bill also contains "The Save America Act".

In the proposal, Trump proposed five reforms, including the obligation to use a photo ID card and proof of citizenship for all voters in elections. The draft also includes restrictions on voting by mail.

In the field of social rights, the legislation contains a ban on men participating in women's sports as well as a total ban on sex change operations for minors.
