Russia Accuses Denmark of Helping Ukraine's 'Terrorism' Through Weapon Factory in Copenhagen
JAKARTA - Russia considers the placement of Danish military goods production facilities for Ukraine as a hostile move and as assistance to the Kyivv terrorist regime.
"We see the placement of companies in Denmark for the benefit of the criminal terrorist regime of Kyiv as a criminal act that undermines the prospects for a political and diplomatic settlement of the conflict, and potentially escalates the conflict further," said Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, quoted by TASS, Wednesday, June 10.
"Of course, we consider this to be funding terrorist activities, facilitating terrorist activities," he continued.
Zakharova said Copenhagen was "obsessed" with fanatical Russophobia, turning a blind eye to the involvement of Ukrainian companies in corruption scandals and compromising the basic requirements for industrial environmental safety, as well as ignoring the opinions of its own residents.
"The ideas about human rights, freedom, and humanism have been trampled on," Zakharova said.
"It is clear that the weapons and the production of their components, which are planned to be distributed in Denmark by Ukrainian companies, will continue to be used to launch terrorist attacks. I would like to emphasize that there are terrorist attacks against the civilian population and the civilian infrastructure of the Russian Federation," he continued.
