Remind Hospitals Not to Become a Place of Corruption, Prabowo Requests that Public Services Must Be a Priority
KRUI - President Prabowo Subianto reminded that the construction of hospitals should not stop at the establishment of buildings and the availability of medical equipment. He emphasized that health facilities built with state funds must be managed cleanly and truly serve the community.
Prabowo conveyed this message when he inaugurated the KH Muhammad Thohir Hospital in Krui, West Coast Regency, Lampung, Wednesday (10/6).
Prabowo asked all hospitals that have been completed to maintain cleanliness, implement professional management, and run transparent governance.
"There must be no corruption in the service to the people," said Prabowo.
The statement was made amid a major government program to strengthen national health services. In the next three years, the government targets the construction and modernization of 350 hospitals to 400 hospitals throughout the districts, as well as the renovation of 10,000 puskesmas.
In addition to the construction of facilities, the government has also begun distributing nearly 1,000 units of modern health equipment to regional hospitals in 514 regencies and cities.
Prabowo emphasized that the public must feel the direct benefits of the state's large investment in the health sector. Therefore, hospitals are not only required to have good buildings and equipment, but also fast, professional, and patient-oriented services.
