President Soroti Warga Died While Giving Birth because He Was Far from the Hospital

KRUI - President Prabowo Subianto highlighted the difficulty of accessing health services in a number of areas. One case of concern is that residents who die from bleeding during childbirth because it takes a long time to reach the hospital.

According to Prabowo, this condition should not continue to occur and become the reason for the government to accelerate the development of health facilities to the regions.

"I am concerned, I heard that someone died of bleeding during childbirth because it took a long time to go to the hospital. This must be overcome," said Prabowo when inaugurating the KH Muhammad Thohir Hospital in Krui, West Coast Regency, Lampung, Thursday (10/6).

As a step to improve, the government targets the construction, renovation, and modernization of 350 to 400 hospitals in the next three years.

In addition to hospitals, the government will also update 10,000 health centers so that people in remote areas can get faster and adequate health services.

Prabowo said the government had also distributed nearly 1,000 modern health equipment to regional hospitals in 514 districts and cities.

According to the President, the presence of a new hospital must provide real benefits, especially for people who have difficulty getting health services due to distance and limited facilities.
