KPK OTT Again, This Time the Turn of ASN BPK
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has again held a hand-in-hand operation (OTT) since last night. This activity is said to be related to the bribery case in the Muara Enim Regency Government which ensnared Muara Enim Regent Edison.
"KPK has again carried out a follow-up arrest in the case, where for the arrest," said KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo to reporters at the KPK Red and White building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Wednesday, June 10.
Budi said that there was allegedly a bribe from the Muara Enim Regency Government. "This alleged gift is related to the BPK's findings in the procurement, one of which is a Smart TV which we explained yesterday in the construction of the Muara Enim case," he said.
Budi said that 11 people were arrested. Five of them were state civil servants (ASN) from the Financial Audit Agency (BPK).
"Currently, the parties who have been secured are still being intensively examined and this afternoon an exposure has been carried out and it has been decided that this closed investigation will be decided to be raised to the investigation stage based on sufficient and valid initial evidence," he said.
"Investigators will determine the parties responsible for being named as suspects in the alleged bribery case in the South Sumatra Regency of Muara Enim to individuals at the Financial Supervisory Agency."
