Raffi Ahmad Ready to Give Explanation Regarding Bluray Cargo Issue

JAKARTA - Celebrity Raffi Ahmad's name is again being stirred up with unpleasant issues related to the ongoing legal case in court regarding the Bluray Cargo corruption. In response to this, Hotman Paris ensures that his client will immediately provide an official clarification to straighten out the information.

Hotman explained that communication between him and Raffi Ahmad had been intense since Monday evening. They agreed not to delay providing explanations to the public through an official press conference.

"We have agreed with Raffi Ahmad to hold a press conference on Thursday at 2pm," said Hotman Paris, quoted by VOI from his personal Instagram, Tuesday, June 9.

Although this issue is considered urgent, Hotman cannot hold a press conference in the near future. This is because he has very urgent family affairs abroad.

"Why Thursday? Because tomorrow is Tuesday morning, I have to fly to Singapore at 5 am to accompany Hotman's legal wife who is being treated in the hospital," he said.

Hotman emphasized that Raffi Ahmad is currently the target of slander associated with an import commodity trial. This issue is considered very detrimental to Raffi's image as an entrepreneur and entertainer.

"Ask for legal assistance against all who have defamed him. He said his name was mentioned in the trial regarding the imported Bluray Cargo," he said again.

The 64-year-old lawyer asked the public and the media to be patient waiting for Thursday. He promised to immediately accompany Raffi as soon as his business in Singapore was completed.

"Hopefully I can go home Wednesday afternoon to accompany Raffi Ahmad. Come on, all media and people who post, come on!" he said.

Hotman Paris also asked that the parties who have been "vocal" on social media do not suddenly disappear during the clarification. He wants the debate to be based on authentic data, not assumptions.

"Bring your evidence! Yes? Is it true that Raffi Ahmad is involved in the case of imported Bluray Cargo which is now on trial? Imported Bluray Cargo," explained Hotman Paris.

For information, Raffi Ahmad's name surfaced in the trial after the KPK prosecutor confirmed a WhatsApp conversation between Sri Pangestuti alias Tuti, a customs services management entrepreneur (PPJK) with Yohanes who is John Field's personal assistant.

In the conversation read by the prosecutor, Yohanes said that Raffi, who was then in the United States, was said to want to send goods in the form of laptops and iPhones to Indonesia through the Bluray Cargo network.
