DEN Chairman Reveals the Opportunity for Hundreds of Billions of Dollars to Enter via Family Office

JAKARTA - The government is preparing a follow-up discussion on Family Office, a service for managing the wealth of super-rich families, and an international financial center in Indonesia.

Chairman of the National Economic Council Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan said the agenda would be discussed in a meeting in Bali in July 2026.

"We hope that there is a potential of about several hundred billion dollars that may enter Indonesia," said Luhut at the Presidential Palace Complex, Jakarta, Tuesday (9/6).

According to Luhut, this opportunity must be maintained with a good investment climate and positive news about Indonesia.

Family Office, an institution that manages the investment and wealth of super-rich families.

Family Office is considered to be one way to attract global funds to Indonesia. The government hopes that this scheme can strengthen investment and support economic growth.
