After Watching the NBA Finals, Trump: Peace Negotiations Will Be Realized in 2-3 Days

JAKARTA - US President Donald Trump said that the peace negotiations in the Middle East are currently in the "final stage".

"We are in the final stages of an agreement that will be very, very good," he told reporters after watching the NBA Finals, Tuesday, June 9 local time, quoted from AFP.

When asked when exactly a peace deal would be reached, Trump said it would take "two or three days."

Iran and Israel said on Monday that hostilities between them had ceased. The statements of both parties came after Iran and Israel launched attacks that threatened to reignite the Middle East war.

Iran launched missiles at Israel on Sunday, June 7, in response to the Zionists who continued to attack Lebanon and Gaza amid a peace deal in Lebanon. Israel then retaliated, which triggered another Iranian missile attack.

Until finally Iran announced that it would stop firing.

The exchange of fire between Iran and Israel occurred at a critical moment for diplomatic efforts to end the conflict involving Pakistani mediators.
