Istana Pastikan Purbaya Aman, Belum Ada Rencana Reshuffle Kabinet

JAKARTA - The Presidential Palace ensures that the position of Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa is safe in the Red and White Cabinet. The government also confirmed that President Prabowo Subianto has no plans to carry out a cabinet reshuffle or reshuffle, including the replacement of a number of ministers who have recently become the subject of public speculation.

The Minister of State Secretary (Mensesneg) and Presidential Spokesperson, Prasetyo Hadi, denied various issues circulating regarding the plan for a massive reshuffle in the Red and White Cabinet. He also confirmed the news regarding the replacement of Finance Minister Purbaya was not true.

"Once again, on several occasions, we have conveyed that to this day there is no plan (reshuffle). If it was mentioned earlier, the reshuffling, especially the massive one for the Red and White Cabinet, has not yet been there," Prasetyo told reporters at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta, Monday, June 8.

The statement also responded to various speculations that have developed in recent times regarding the possibility of replacing a number of ministers, including the position of the Minister of Finance.

According to Prasetyo, currently all members of the Red and White Cabinet are still focused on carrying out the work program and government agenda that has been set by President Prabowo.

He said the government's current attention was directed at ensuring that priority programs were implemented effectively and provided benefits for the community, not discussing changes to the cabinet structure.

"All members of the cabinet are currently working and focusing on carrying out their respective duties according to the President's instructions," he said.

However, Prasetyo admitted that evaluating the performance of the cabinet was a common thing in the government. However, until now there has been no decision or plan regarding the cabinet reshuffle.

He emphasized that the authority to carry out a reshuffle was entirely in the hands of President Prabowo as the head of the government.

Therefore, the public is asked not to speculate on various issues that do not have an official basis from the government.

As the president's spokesperson, Prasetyo ensured that if there were changes in the cabinet later, the government would convey it publicly.

"So until today there is no plan for that. Later, if it is really needed, we will definitely convey it to our brothers," said Prasetyo.

With this statement, the Palace confirmed that the position of Minister of Finance Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa and other members of the Red and White Cabinet remained safe, while the government agenda continued to focus on the implementation of development programs and public services.
