Keanu Angelo Denies Receiving Billions from Hanania Group Umrah Travel

Selebgram Keanu Angelo finally answered the call of the Polda Metro Jaya regarding the case of alleged fraud on the Hanania Group umrah congregation. Keanu was accompanied by his lawyer to straighten out the confusion regarding the fantastic endorsement value that was widely reported on social media.

"I explained inside that I was in a partnership with Hanania, I didn't accept any endorsement money at all. I worked with him in barter," said Keanu Angelo at the Metro Jaya Police Headquarters, Monday, June 8.

Keanu explained in detail that the reward he received was purely in the form of departure facilities for the pilgrimage to the holy land. In return, he gave a testimony based on his personal experience during the trip.

"So they sent me off, I promoted my testimony, my experience while I was there. I also brought my bank account for the period of my departure, which was 2 years ago, in August," he continued.

The man whose real name is Muhammad Miftahuda even brought proof of account mutation to prove that there was no flow of funds from the company.

"I brought a bank account 1 month earlier, 1 month later, that I did not receive any flow of funds from the Hanania Group," he added.

Keanu's lawyer, Charles P. Situmorang, added that his client's move to submit this banking evidence was a form of transparency as a law-abiding citizen. His party wants to break the wild issue that says Keanu receives illegal money.

"Earlier, according to what we have said in the investigation statement, first, Mas Keanu did not receive the endorsement payment fee. What he received was a barter related to the free departure of Umrah for Mas Keanu," said Charles P. Situmorang.

Charles emphasized that Keanu's work with the travel agency was very short. The cooperation automatically ended once the group arrived back home without any other long-term commitment.

"Mas Keanu the reciprocal is to promote through Insta Daily Story on Instagram, during the departure process until the return. From July 29 to August 10 arrived in Indonesia. No more than that," said Charles.

In addition, the legal representative also clarified Keanu's legal position within the company. Keanu is confirmed to not have any position related to the management of the Hanania Group.

"Mas Keanu is not involved or involved in the management of PT or the company that is brought by the Hanania Group. Not as a director, not as a shareholder, not as a commissioner, nor as an investor. So Mas Keanu is pure just a guest," said the lawyer.

Keanu closed his statement by expressing his readiness to continue to help the police.

"I fully support the police's action to thoroughly investigate this case. And I will be cooperative in the legal process that is underway," concluded Keanu.
