BGN does not want to chase the number, the quality of the MBG kitchen will be checked

Head of BGN Nanik S. Deyang said his agency would change the focus of the implementation of the nutritious meal program. BGN does not want to just chase the number of kitchens, but ensure the quality of services in the field.

Nanik said all operational kitchens would be checked for compliance with technical instructions.

"We are not pursuing quantity," Nanik said at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta, Monday, June 8.

According to Nanik, the kitchens that are already running will be grouped and evaluated. BGN will see if the kitchen really meets the standards set.

This step is important because the nutritious meal program concerns children and groups in need. Therefore, Nanik emphasized that quality control will be BGN's main job in the near future.
