IRGC Claims Attack on Israel's Haifa Petrochemical Plant

JAKARTA - The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran claims that the Iranian military has attacked a number of petrochemical factories in Haifa, Israel.

Earlier that day, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) announced an attack on several targets in a petrochemical complex in the city of Bandar-e Mahshahr, Iran.

Iran's Ministry of Petroleum later confirmed Israel's attacks on a number of targets in the country's southwest.

"A few minutes ago, IRGC militants launched a missile attack on several similar companies in Haifa in response to the American-Zionist enemy's attack on one of the petrochemical companies," the IRGC said in a statement, as quoted by the Tasnim news agency.
