Quick Count Indicator: Uncle Birin Defeats Denny Indrayana In South Kalimantan Gubernatorial Election

JAKARTA - The results of a quick count (quick count) by the Indonesian Political Indicators survey institute show a prediction of the victory of the candidate pair Sahbirin Noor-H Muhidin from his opponent Denny Indrayana-Difriadi in the South Kalimantan gubernatorial election.

Quoted from Indicator's written statement, the quick count sample for the South Kalimantan gubernatorial election was taken using the stratified-cluster random sampling method. There are 300 TPS for sampling.

The maximum error tolerance or margin of error for the quick count is estimated at 1.42 percent with a confidence level of 95 percent.

"The Sahbirin Noor - H Muhidin pair is predicted to win the South Kalimantan regional election," said the quick count result of Indicator, Wednesday, June 9.

The quick count results of the re-voting of the South Kalimantan gubernatorial election showed the Sahbirni Noor - Muhidin Unggul pair were significant with around 66.98 percent of the vote. While the rival pair Denny Indrayana-Difriadi Darjat with a vote of about 33.02 percent.

With a margin of error, the final percentage for the Sahbirin Noor-Muhidin pair is predicted to be around 51.11 percent and the Denny Indrayana-Difriadi pair at 48.89 percent.
