DPR and Government Discuss Rules for Acceleration of Investment Permits

JAKARTA - The DPR and the government discuss the preparation of rules to accelerate investment licensing. The discussion was carried out in a coordination meeting at the DPR Building, Monday, June 8.

Deputy Speaker of the DPR Sufmi Dasco Ahmad said the meeting was attended by the Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia, Head of the Inter-Agency Management Agency Donny Oskaria, and Minister of Law Supratman Andi Agtas.

"The discussion today is that we are coordinating how we accelerate economic growth," said Dasco.

In addition to the governance of the export of natural resources by DSI and the ESDM sector, the meeting also discussed rules to expedite investment permits.

"We also discussed how to make rules for accelerating investment permits," said Dasco.

Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi said the government continues to improve coordination so that the economy runs as expected.

He also asked market players to support maintaining a competitive and open business climate.
