Inul Daratista Angry at Being Called Crazy for Respecting Train Staff Serving While Kneeling: That's SOP!
JAKARTA - Senior singer Inul Daratista is once again in the spotlight of netizens. This time, it's not because of her stunning stage performance, but because of a video of her traveling by luxury train that has drawn criticism from netizens.
Inul was accused of "respecting madness" because a train attendant was seen providing service in a kneeling position in front of him. Not staying silent, the owner of the rocking gobo immediately provided a clarification by hitting it through his personal Instagram account, @inul.d.
In his latest post, Inul explained that the squatting position carried out by the officer was not at his personal request or because of his status as a public figure. He emphasized that this is an official Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) from PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) for certain classes.
"That's why taking this compartment suite train so that you don't accuse su'udzon mulu," wrote Inul Daratista, quoted by VOI, Monday, June 8.
Inul felt angry with the comments of netizens who said the officer was forced to worship him.
"Elu said that because I'm an artist, I'm an exception when I talk to me, I have to kneel! That's the SOP from KAI, I didn't make the rules. Do you understand now? Sok pinter tapi aaarrgghh," he continued with an annoyed tone.
Inul also expressed her frustration to netizens who she considered just talking without knowing the facts on the ground.
"Cangkemu nek ngomong dan nulis asal njeplak aje sayang, enggak tahu orangnya. Kalau tahu, wes tak tapuk klompen awakmu (mulutmu kalau bicara dan menulis asal saja sayang, kalau tahu sudah kupukul pakai sandal kayu kamu)," tulis Inul.
He wondered why the friendliness and professionalism of public transportation service officers were often misunderstood by netizens. For Inul, the excellent service provided by PT KAI in the Compartment Suite class is a form of appreciation for passengers who have paid for premium facilities.
"Because I'm Inul, a public figure, everyone has to worship like that? Neti (netizen) who is strange, smart, but mbuh," concluded Inul.
For information, the Compartment Suite Class is one of the most luxurious services owned by PT KAI. In this class, passenger privacy and comfort are very important. One form of service does require officers to speak in parallel or with a lower position (kneeling/kneeling) so that communication feels more personal and does not intimidate passengers who are sitting.
