Actor Jin Ze Dies at 33

JAKARTA - The sad news came from the Chinese entertainment industry. Young actor Jin Ze is reported to have died last week at the age of 33.

This sad news was shared by Jin Ze's management company which released an official statement. They stated that Jin Ze, whose real name is Zhang Jiajie, died at his home on June 4.

"We are deeply saddened to inform you that actor Jin Ze died unexpectedly at his home in Hangzhou on June 4, 2026," the agency said.

Furthermore, the agency did not reveal the specific cause of Jin Ze's death, but they hoped that the public could give privacy to the family left behind.

"Currently, the family is handling the final files. We ask that the community and the public can respect the person who has left, forgive the family and refuse to make false news," he said.

Jin Ze is an actor who started his career as a model. Born in Weihai, Shandong in 1993, Jin Ze also studied at the Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology.

In 2016, his appearance on I Can See Your Voice was highlighted and he began starring in several Chinese dramas and films.

During his career, Jin Ze has starred in various drama titles Hello, Joann, Begin Again Forget You, Remember Love, Legally Romance, Fake Princess.

This year, he acted through the drama Give You My Heart and When the Snow Falls. He will also appear in the drama Overreaction and Love Stories on the Island which has not been given a broadcast date.
