Double Job, Desta Reveals His Involvement as a Creative Producer in the Warkop DKI Film

Deddy Mahendra Desta or better known as Desta, does not seem to be satisfied with just standing in front of the screen as an actor in the film Warkop DKI Viralin DOoOng..!!.

In this latest film from Falcon Pictures, the leader of Vindes proves his totality by holding a position behind the scenes as a Creative Producer.

Desta admitted that his involvement in the production process of this film was his own request to the production house since the beginning of the project. He felt that he had a great passion to help monitor the technical quality of the film.

"If the involvement is from the beginning, I have told Falcon, I ask to be involved in the production in terms of helping Mr. Herwin (Director)," said Desta in South Jakarta, Saturday, June 6.

As a Creative Producer, Desta's role is quite crucial. He not only gives ideas, but also directly monitors the technical details in the post-production room with the editor.

"To help take care of editing, take care of even grading, even the scoring is also taken care of. So it's really a matter of wanting, because I'm a person who likes things like that," he continued.

For this father of three, the opportunity is a platform to apply all the knowledge he has learned, from his college days, the experience of building Vindes, to his daily routine.

"I went to school in design, in graphics, in visuals, in art. So I know a little bit. Finally, Bu Erika listed me as a creative producer," explained Desta.

Not only visual affairs, Desta also contributed his skills in the field of music. He even helped compose a song for the film's needs, while joking about his past as a musician.

"I make songs. I used to be a musician, Club 80s, loe don't know? One hit, one song, 'From the Heart'," he said laughing.
