Determine the recipients of assistance, 687 houses are not suitable for habitation reviewed by the West Aceh Regency Government
JAKARTA - The West Aceh Regency Government (Pemkab) has verified 687 unlivable houses (RTLH) to ensure the actual condition of the community of prospective beneficiaries from the local government.
"Data from field verification is an important foundation in determining the direction of the policy for the development of decent housing in West Aceh Regency," said the Head of the RTLH and DTSEN Task Force for West Aceh Regency, Wistha Nowar in a statement received by Antara, Saturday.
According to him, all the data that has been collected will be re-verified, in order to determine the priority scale of recipients of assistance based on the conditions and level of community needs.
Wistha Nowar said that the data that had been collected would be verified again, in order to determine the scale of priority for the construction of houses, ranging from Priority 1, Priority 2, to Priority 3 in each sub-district.
"The determination of these priorities is carried out objectively based on the actual conditions found in the field. The results of the verification will also be discussed further at the mukim level in each district," he said.
This step is carried out to ensure the accuracy of data, as well as opening up space for public participation in providing input regarding the condition of citizens who need assistance.
Through the multi-tiered verification process involving various parties, the West Aceh Regency Government hopes that the RTLH handling program can run more accurately, transparently, and fairly.
Wistha said this verification is also an important part of the West Aceh Regency Government's efforts to present accurate data as a basis for planning the development of the housing sector, as well as supporting the improvement of people's welfare through the provision of decent and safe housing.
This step is proof of the seriousness of the West Aceh Regency in ensuring that every citizen has access to a decent place to live, as well as strengthening efforts to reduce poverty and improve the quality of life of the community sustainably.
