Oman 3 - 0 Bungkam, Indonesia Sudahi Penantian 38 Tahun

JAKARTA - The Indonesian national team ended a 38-year wait to beat Oman after winning 3-0 in a friendly match at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, Jakarta, Friday.

In this match, Indonesia, as reported by Antara, managed to beat Oman thanks to goals from Justin Hubner, Ole Romeny and Ragnar Oratmangoen, according to FIFA's notes.

The last time Indonesia managed to beat Oman was on January 18, 1988 with a score of 3-0 at the King's Cup in Thailand.

Furthermore, Indonesia will play a friendly match against the Mozambique National Team at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, Jakarta, Tuesday (9/6) at 20.00 WIB.

Indonesia took the initiative to attack first when the match started and even threatened through Nathan Tjoe-A-On's header which could be blocked by Oman's defense line.

The Garuda team managed to take the lead in the 13th minute after Nathan's free kick was greeted by Justin Hubner's header so that the score changed to 1-0.

Indonesia was able to double its lead to 2-0 thanks to a goal from Ole Romeny who managed to pass Oman's defense in the 27th minute.

Oman had the opportunity to at least tie the score after receiving a penalty kick because Hubner committed a foul in the penalty box.

Hatem Al Rushadi who was the referee failed to carry out his duties well after his kick was read by Emil Audero so that the Indonesian goal was still safe from being conceded.

In the remaining time of the first half, Indonesia dominated the ball and tempo, but until halftime the score of 2-0 for the home team's advantage remained.

Entering the second half, Indonesia again showed an attacking game and was able to add a lead to 3-0 in the 57th minute through Ragnar Oratmangoen's goal.

After falling behind by two goals, Oman tried to reduce the gap with a shot from Musaab Hamed Almamari who still missed the target.

Ole Romeny had the opportunity to score his second goal in this match, but his kick was still able to be stopped by the Oman defense line.

Then it was Saddil Ramdani's turn to create an opportunity for Indonesia, but his kick still went sideways from the Oman goal.

Oman had a golden opportunity through a hard shot from Ahad Alhabshi Almusahikhi, but the ball was able to be deflected by Emil Audero.

In the remaining time, Oman continued to try to at least narrow the gap, but until the end of the match, the score of 3-0 for Indonesia's victory remained.
