Say Harsh Words in the Middle of a Dispute with Ruben Onsu, Sarwendah Apologizes
JAKARTA - Celebrity Sarwendah finally spoke up about a video clip of her that went viral saying a rude word in the middle of her feud with her ex-husband, Ruben Onsu, which eventually caused controversy in the virtual world.
Through a recent video, Sarwendah openly admitted her mistake which had triggered a commotion in the community.
"As a normal human being, who is not immune from sin and mistakes, I realize that the video clip that has been circulating has caused a commotion on social media," said Sarwendah, quoted by VOI, Friday, June 5.
The mother of three children realized that what was said in the video clip was considered inappropriate for the public to consume. He regretted his attitude which was considered not to reflect the value of goodness.
"I realize that my words do not show kindness or humility," said the former Cherrybelle member.
Sarwendah regretted that the problem, which should have been resolved internally, actually became a wild ball that consumed a lot of public energy. He felt the need to straighten out the atmosphere.
"Things that should have been quite settled in a quieter space are now also taking the attention and energy of many parties," he continued.
Without seeking an apology, Sarwendah expressed sincere apologies to all parties who felt disturbed or offended by the content that was circulating.
"Therefore, I apologize from the bottom of my heart to everyone. I apologize for the video that has been circulating and for all those who have been affected by it," he said again.
In the future, Sarwendah is committed to being more careful in her behavior in the public sphere. She realizes that her position as a public figure has a big impact on her followers.
"In the future, I need to be wiser, know more about the impact I can make in the public space. Believe me, I don't want to disappoint the trust you have given me so far," said Sarwendah.
He also closed the clarification with a prayer that the situation would soon improve for everyone.
"My prayer is that we will all be given fortitude and goodness in the future," he concluded.
