PERURI Supports Higher Education Transformation through the Implementation of Digital Degrees at Riau University

JAKARTA - PERURI participated in the Mitra Universitas Riau Exhibition Day (MUED) 2026, an event for cross-sector collaboration to accelerate national digital transformation. The event was opened directly by the Rector of the University of Riau, Prof. Dr. Sri Indarti, and was attended by various strategic partners, including the Riau Provincial BPS, the Riau Ministry of Law and Human Rights, PTPN IV, Pertamina Hulu Rokan, and Telkomsel.

In his remarks, the Rector of the University of Riau, Prof. Dr. Sri Indarti, conveyed that collaboration with various strategic partners is an important part in strengthening the role of universities in the midst of accelerating digital transformation.

"Universitas Riau continues to encourage collaboration with various parties to bring innovations that have an impact on the world of education. Through forums such as MUED 2026, we hope that a stronger synergy will be built between universities, industries, and strategic institutions in supporting digital transformation, improving the quality of academic services, and strengthening the competitiveness of graduates in the future," said Prof. Dr. Sri Indarti, in his statement, Friday, June 5.

Through this activity, PERURI introduces the National Digital Degree as a solution for the issuance of legally valid electronic academic documents. Equipped with Electronic Signature and Electronic Stamp, this solution answers the challenge of document forgery, accelerates the verification process of graduates by institutions and the world of work, and is ready to be integrated with digital credential ecosystems at the national and international levels.

Apart from the Digital Degree, PERURI also explained the concept of the Campus SuperApps. This integrated platform integrates all academic and administrative services, ranging from KRS, KHS, UKT payments, to career services in one smart, connected, and seamless application. All access to these services is supported by Single Sign-On (SSO) technology through PERURI ID, thus ensuring data security and practicality for students, lecturers, and education staff.

Responding to the importance of digital transformation in the university environment, PERURI's Director of Digital Business, Farah Fitria Rahmayanti, said that PERURI is ready to support the presence of a safer, integrated, and trusted education service ecosystem.

"Digital transformation of education is not only about moving services to digital platforms, but also building an integrated, secure ecosystem that is able to provide a better service experience. PERURI is here to support Indonesian universities towards a more modern, efficient, and trusted education service," said Farah.

As a state-owned enterprise trusted to develop secure digital solutions, PERURI's participation in MUED 2026 is a manifestation of the company's commitment to synergizing the world of education and industry. This step is expected to be able to build the foundation of safe and adaptive education governance to produce superior talent in the era of digital economy.
