Clara Shinta Accuses Ex-Husband of Not Paying Child Support
JAKARTA - The conflict between Clara Shinta and her ex-husband, Denny Goestaf alias DG, has spread to child custody issues. Clara is accused of preventing DG from meeting their son, Kino.
In response to this, Clara actually revealed the facts about DG's financial responsibilities, which he considered to be zero.
"I have opened access after going to the KPAI. But there I did say to the KPAI, for him to carry out his responsibilities as a father with a minimum of 5 million a month, but he did not agree," said Clara Shinta at the Polda Metro Jaya, Thursday, June 4.
Clara felt strange because on one hand her ex-husband fought in the media to meet the child, but on the other hand ignored the basic obligations that had been set out in the court ruling.
"He prefers to sue rather than pay alimony. It's strange that we as parents, just pay the alimony to meet the child, it's not for me. Even Komnas people are confused what he's talking about," said Clara.
Regarding the accusation of obstructing the meeting, Clara revealed evidence of a conversation in which she had allowed DG to pick up the baby, but DG's party unilaterally canceled the appointment.
"Suddenly he chat embak, 'I guess it won't be tomorrow, mami's brain will change again, you know mami'. He canceled himself, my party didn't cancel. Please include the evidence, so it's a strange hallucination," said Clara.
Clara admitted that she had restricted access because she saw DG's behavior which was considered unhealthy for the child's mental development.
"It's normal for me as a parent who has a special assessment of my child's growth and development to be disturbed, I did limit it at that time. I don't want my child to see the figure of an irresponsible father figure," he said.
For him, economic affairs should not be an excuse for a man to run away from the responsibility of providing for his own flesh and blood.
"Economic problems are not an excuse, and do not normalize any man who does not provide for his children. Men must still be responsible, whatever the reason," continued this celebrity.
Until now, Clara claims that she has not received a penny of alimony since the divorce ruling was issued by the court.
"From the KPAI until now there has been no income. Since the divorce verdict there has been none, even before the divorce, yes I was the one who supported the child. What is the proof? This is my bank account book, it's a lot," he said.
Clara even remembers the difficult times in 2018 where he actually helped the DG economy use his own pocket money.
"Before I worked alone, I helped the economy, the nations only 250 thousand I transferred up to 10 million, 15 million, where I tried small businesses. Even though it was my allowance," recalled Clara.
He also asked DG to stop making narratives that cornered him in the media and started focusing on finding a job so that he could fulfill his obligations to his children.
"I'd rather he find a decent job for him, an extra job so that he can support my child so that the 5 million is fulfilled, don't look for excuses for this and that property anymore," concluded Clara Shinta.
