The Attorney General's Office Continues to Search Several Places in the Development of the MBG Case
JAKARTA - The Attorney General's Office (Kejagung) continues to search several places in the development of the case of alleged corruption in the management of the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) program in 2025-2026 at the National Nutrition Agency (BGN).
"If the development, we still have to search, it is still continuing in several places. Where is it, we will announce, but we can't say it now," said Director of Investigation (Dirdik) of the Attorney General's Office for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) Syarief Sulaeman Nahdi at the Attorney General's Office Jampidsus Building, Jakarta, Thursday.
He said that the search was to collect evidence in order to carry out intensive investigations.
The search was a continuation of the previous one, where investigators searched the BGN office in Central Jakarta and the houses of the three suspects.
In addition to searching a number of locations, he said that investigators were still examining witnesses, one of which was the vendor.
"It's still a process, just one day today," he said.
Previously, three former BGN officials were named as suspects in the alleged corruption case of the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) program management at BGN in 2025-2026.
The three are former BGN Head Dadan Hindayana and two former Deputy BGN Heads, Lodewyk Pusung and Sony Sonjaya.
They are suspected of appointing affiliated foundations illegally as partners of the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG). In addition, they are suspected of carrying out procurement processes, both goods and services, illegally.
For their actions, the suspects are suspected of violating Article 603 Juncto Article 20 letter a or c of Law (UU) Number 1 of 2023 concerning the Criminal Code Jo. Article 18 of Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning the Eradication of Corruption Crimes Jo. Law Number 20 of 2001 concerning Amendments to Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning the Eradication of Corruption Crimes.
For further information, the three suspects will be detained for the next 20 days starting Wednesday (3/6) at the Salemba Branch Detention Center of the Attorney General's Office and the Salemba Branch Detention Center of the South Jakarta District Attorney's Office.
