ReJO Apresiasi Prabowo atas Pergantian Pimpinan BGN
JAKARTA - The National Leadership Board of Jokowi-Prabowo Volunteers (ReJO for Prabowo Gibran) gives the highest appreciation to the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, for the firm decision to change the leadership of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) as a form of national leadership responsibility in maintaining the sustainability of the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) Program.
The Chairman of ReJO for Prabowo Gibran, Ir. Darmizal MS, stated that the MBG program is not just an ordinary government program, but a major effort of the state to prepare the Indonesian Golden Generation through nutritional fulfillment, stunting eradication, improvement of health quality, and the development of intelligence of Indonesian children.
"MBG is a humanitarian program and a civilization program. This program was born from President Prabowo's great vision to ensure that every Indonesian child has the basic right to good nutrition. Therefore, any form of deviation in its implementation is a betrayal of the noble ideals of the nation," said Darmizal, Thursday, June 4.
ReJO assessed that the President's decision to evaluate and replace the BGN leadership shows that the President does not tolerate governance failures, oversight weaknesses, and various issues that can disrupt public confidence in the national strategic program.
Regarding the ongoing legal process, ReJO fully entrusts law enforcement officials to work professionally, independently, transparently, and based on valid evidence in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
"Indonesia is a country of law. Any party suspected of violating the law must be given the opportunity to undergo a fair legal process. However, if it is later proven to be legally and convincingly that there has been a criminal act of corruption that harms the state and deprives the public of their rights, the perpetrators must be held accountable to the fullest extent possible according to applicable law," he said.
According to this Minang-blooded man, the alleged corruption that touches the Free Nutritious Meal Program has a much heavier moral dimension compared to corruption in ordinary projects.
"If it is true that there are parties who take personal advantage of the budget allocated for the nutritional fulfillment of Indonesian children, then in fact they not only harm the state's finances, but also deprive the right to grow and develop the next generation of the nation. They reduce the quality of Indonesia's future," said Darmizal.
ReJO also asked the government to immediately carry out a thorough improvement of the BGN governance, strengthen the supervision system, increase budget transparency, and ensure that all MBG funds actually reach the beneficiaries in accordance with the standards set by the government.
Furthermore, ReJO invites all people not to lose confidence in the Free Nutritious Meal Program just because of the alleged irregularities committed by certain individuals.
"The MBG program must continue. What must be stopped is the deviation, not the program. The culprit must be punished, not the noble ideals that the country is fighting for Indonesian children," said Darmizal.
As volunteers supporting the government of President Prabowo and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, ReJO stated that it would continue to be at the forefront of supporting the agenda of eradicating corruption, strengthening clean government governance, Good Corporate Governance-GCG and the success of all national strategic programs that are in favor of the people.
"President Prabowo's decisive action today shows that a leader's highest loyalty is not to officials, but to the people, the nation, and the future of Indonesia," Darmizal explained.
