Soroti Kasus Eks Kepala BGN-Wamen Imipas, DPR Ingatkan Pejabat Negara Pegang Komitmen Prabowo dalam Pemberantasan Korupsi

JAKARTA - Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Saan Mustopa responded to the arrest of the head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN), Dadan Hindayana by the Attorney General's Office and Deputy Minister of Immigration and Corrections, Silmy Karim by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).

Saan reminded all state officials to hold the commitment to the side of eradicating corruption as directed by President Prabowo Subianto.

"Regarding several high-ranking state officials who are entangled in legal cases, both in BGN and Deputy Minister of Immigration. Of course, the President's aides must really hold fast to what is the commitment, partisanship, and strong will of President Mr. Prabowo related to efforts to eradicate corruption," said Saan at the DPR building, Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday, June 4.

Saan reminded, President Prabowo always emphasized on every occasion about his commitment to eradicate corruption. "Even his speech is extraordinary. Well, his aides should hold on to what is a commitment to always maintain his behavior to maintain his integrity, credibility, professionalism as a presidential aide, both in ministries and in agencies," he said.

"So once again the DPR reminds all levels of the ministry and also the agency and so on to always adhere to what the President's commitment and will is in an effort to eradicate corruption," said the NasDem Deputy Secretary General.

Saan revealed that the DPR certainly expressed concern and regretted the various incidents that have recently occurred at the same time in the body and ministries. "In the two institutions, the Prosecutor's Office and the KPK, we have received the fact that both the Deputy Minister and the head of BGN and his staff are entangled in various legal problems," said Saan.
