Prudential Indonesia Records Sustainable Financial Performance Growth Throughout 2025

Today, PT Prudential Life Assurance (Prudential Indonesia) announced its business performance for the year ended December 31, 2025. The company's business performance throughout 2025 was supported by a solid financial foundation, as well as the company's ability to adapt to the ever-evolving industry dynamics and changing customer needs.

This performance is supported by Prudential Indonesia's continued focus on providing relevant protection solutions and services through product innovation, technology implementation, and strengthening the overall customer experience (end-to-end).

In 2025, the company recorded premium income of IDR 21.1 trillion, total assets of IDR 64.3 trillion, and net profit of IDR 2.4 trillion. With a total payment of claims and benefits reaching IDR 16 trillion, this achievement shows the company's commitment to fulfilling its obligations to its customers.

In addition, the company's solvency ratio (Risk Based Capital) also reached 466 percent, far above the regulator's requirements, thus confirming the company's solid financial position in ensuring the sustainability of protection for Customers.

Tony Benitez, President Director, Prudential Indonesia, said that the business performance throughout 2025 reflects the company's ability to maintain its advantages and relevance for Customers in the midst of an evolving industry dynamics.

"Market volatility and global macroeconomic conditions affect investment values, while increasing medical inflation and pressure on people's purchasing power are challenges that the industry continues to face. We remain focused on strengthening our role as a trusted partner in building the resilience of Indonesian families, by providing protection solutions that are increasingly inclusive, accessible, and in line with customer needs at every stage of life," he said.

Encouraging Relevant Protection Innovation and Improving Customer Experience

As a company committed to meeting the needs of current and future generations, Prudential Indonesia continues to strengthen its portfolio of protection solutions to meet the needs of an increasingly diverse community. In the midst of market volatility, the company launched PRUSmart Life Insurance Plan, a life protection solution that provides certainty of benefits with a simpler application process.

Meanwhile, to overcome the challenge of affordability of health services, PRUSehat Health Insurance was launched as a solution for more inclusive and relevant health protection, especially for the younger generation.

Responding to the increase in health care costs, Prudential Indonesia continues to expand the PRUPriority Hospitals network, which by 2025 has reached more than 1,700 hospitals in more than 500 cities and districts spread across the country, including vertical hospitals affiliated with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia. This initiative is further strengthened by the formation of the Prudential Medical Advisory Board, which encourages a more objective, fair and transparent claims process, while maintaining the best quality customer service.

To encourage preventive health care, Prudential Indonesia has consistently launched a healthy lifestyle campaign in collaboration with various stakeholders. In 2025, through the Breast Cancer Journey program, the company will provide 1,000 free vouchers for early detection of breast cancer to eligible customers, in partnership with hospitals in the PRUPriority Hospitals network.

This initiative is a concrete step in raising awareness of the importance of early detection of breast cancer. As a continuation of this effort, Prudential Indonesia also launched PRULady Life Insurance in May this year, as a comprehensive breast cancer protection solution designed to support Indonesian women in maintaining their health and stepping forward with confidence to be #VersiTerhebatMu.

Realizing a Future-Ready Ecosystem with Technology

Technology plays a key role in enabling Prudential Indonesia to build a more integrated and sustainable service ecosystem. On the distribution side, the development of PRUForce 2.0 increases the capabilities of Prudential Business Partners through a more productive seamless platform.

To increase customer engagement and experience, the launch of PRUServices as a digital service for customers as well as the continued development of the SahabatPRU platform based on WhatsApp chat with the use of AI chatbots to serve customers on policy and product information, and the PRUPoints loyalty program helps improve the quality of interaction, ease of access, and added value in the overall experience of insured customers.

Beyond protection solutions, Prudential Indonesia is also committed to strengthening people's financial readiness through various financial literacy initiatives. This includes Cha-Ching, a financial literacy program from the Prudence Foundation for children aged 7-12 years to teach basic concepts of managing money in a fun and easy-to-understand way, and CUAP Bareng Prudential for young people, as part of the company's contribution to building a more resilient and competitive society.

"We believe that being an insurance industry leader that is ready for the future is not only about achieving financial growth, but also creating long-term value through innovation, technology, and meaningful customer experiences. With a strong foundation and a sustainable strategy, we are optimistic that we can continue to support Indonesian families in the long term," concluded Tony Benitez.
