Celebrate a Decade of Work, Reality Club is Ready to Bring the Warmth of the Room to the Jakarta Concert Stage

JAKARTA - Reality Club is preparing to mark the milestone of ten years of their musical journey through a special performance, "(10) Years of Reality Club - Live in Jakarta", which is scheduled to take place at the Basketball Hall of Bung Karno (GBK), Senayan, Central Jakarta, on Saturday, June 6, this week.

Not just a regular stage performance, this concert promoted by Katarsis Live will be packaged with an intimate concept. The musical unit led by Faiz Novascotia Saripudin, Fathia Izzati, Nugi Wicaksono, and Era Patigo will bring the atmosphere of the studio room where they first weave dreams into the performance arena with a larger scale.

Faiz said that this concept was deliberately chosen to give a deep appreciation to his loyal listeners. The band, which has now bagged millions of digital plays, wants to invite the audience to look back at their starting point, which began with simplicity.

"What we want to do is invite people to come to our house. Reality Club itself was born from a house. Initially, Reality Club started at my house and Fathia's house, our family's house. It's unbelievable, from the beginning it was just a fun-fun song at home, suddenly it could get to this point," said Faiz in his statement, Wednesday, June 3.

"We want to give a performance to celebrate together and remember how far we have come," he continued.

The house-themed visualization will later be implemented in detail through stage design, lighting, immersive visual appearance with the support of giant LED screens, to special exhibition zones.

The exhibition area will present various authentic memorabilia and archives that record the quartet's career over the past decade in the music industry of the country.

In line with Faiz, Fathia or affectionately called Chia, said that Reality Club's achievements over the past ten years are a real miracle. For a group that started everything independently from recording in the room to the wardrobe, this consistency is something to be grateful for.

"We want to bring the warmth of the journey. We want people to really feel the impact that all of this started from home. For us, what happened to Reality Club is nothing short of a miracle," said Chia.

The show is planned to roll in two contrasting performance sessions. In the first half, Reality Club will play the entirety of the material from their fourth studio album, "Who Knows Where Life Will Take You?", a repertoire that they have never presented in a single concert format before.

Meanwhile, in the second session, they will pamper the ears of fans with a series of retrospective songs from the first to third albums with a longer set duration.

"This will be the first time we've done a concert with this capacity and not just celebrating a new album, but ten years of travel and four albums in total. So people who come will get a longer set plus storytelling from the past to the present," added Era Patigo.

In order to enrich the musicality dimension on stage, Reality Club also brought a series of collaborators who have emotional attachments since the beginning of their careers. Names ranging from Wisnu Ikhsantama, Iga Massardi, Bilal Indrajaya, Lomba Sihir, to J. Alfredo are confirmed to be involved.

The grandeur of the arrangement will also be strengthened by the flute game of Aji Widyadhana and the accompaniment of gesek music from the Kancatala Ensemble arranged by Chicha Azhari.

From the organizer's side, Katarsis Live promises a treat that not only satisfies the sense of hearing, but also touches the emotional side of the audience present.

"We always want an event that is not only watched, but felt. The audience will feel very close to Reality Club. From them coming to going home, everything is designed so that they feel part of the journey itself," said Reyhana Zain as CEO of Katarsis Live.

To create a stronger bond, the promoter also provides several interactive activations in the venue area, such as a letterbox station facility for fans who want to send letters directly to Reality Club personnel. The audience who came was also asked to wear clothes with a special dress code inspired by the aesthetics of the four Reality Club albums era.
