KSAD Closes Dikreg Seskoad, Lieutenant Colonel Teddy Becomes Best Taskap Writer
BANDUNG - The Chief of Staff of the Army (KSAD) General TNI Maruli Simanjuntak emphasized that Seskoad graduates are not enough to be good at tactics. They must also be able to read changes, understand technology, and have integrity.
The message was conveyed by the Chief of Staff of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (KSAD) General Maruli when closing the LXVII Regular Education of the 2026 Seskoad in Bandung, Wednesday, June 3.
"The strategic role of the Seskoad education institution is not only focused on improving military technical and tactical capabilities, but also developing strategic insights based on science and visionary leadership, as well as moral integrity and superior character as the next generation of the Indonesian Army's struggle," said KSAD Maruli.
According to the KSAD, Seskoad has an important role in producing officers who are not only strong in military techniques, but also mature in strategic thinking. Today's defense challenges are no longer simple. War, technology, information, and global politics are intertwined.
He asked the graduates to continue to study, maintain morale, and not stop improving their capacity. The equipment from Seskoad must be used to strengthen the organization and face increasingly complex tasks.
There is one name that also caught attention. Lieutenant Colonel Inf Teddy Indra Wijaya became the best Taskap writer of Dikreg LXVII Seskoad. Taskap is an individual work paper, a kind of strategic study prepared by student officers as an important part of education.
Teddy explained his strategic ideas in front of invited guests and student officers. Lieutenant Colonel Inf Teddy Indra Wijaya is currently serving as the Cabinet Secretary in the government of President Prabowo Subianto.
Dikreg LXVII Seskoad 2026 was attended by 279 student officers. In detail, 255 from the TNI AD, 4 from the TNI AL, 2 from the TNI AU, 7 from the National Police, and 11 from friendly countries. At the closing, 276 officers were present. The other three were carrying out special duties abroad.
During their education, the officers receive leadership training, strategic management, operational planning, and strategic environment analysis.
With the end of this education, Seskoad graduates will return to their respective units with challenges that are no longer only about the battlefield, but also changes in technology and security dynamics that continue to move quickly.
