Jetour T1 Gasoline and PHEV Officially Sold at Special Prices Starting at IDR 388 Million

JAKARTA - Jetour finally officially announced the price of T1 and can be immediately purchased by Indonesian consumers. This Chinese manufacturer presents the Jetour T1 and T1 i-DM variants that use plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) technology, special prices are also prepared for the first 500 buyers of each variant.

The Jetour T1 is priced at Rp388 million for its special price, while the normal price is Rp408 million. Meanwhile, the T1 i-DM variant is priced at Rp538 million, and the normal price outside the promo is priced at Rp558 million.

The Jetour T1 i-DM comes with a boxy design that is trending in the SUV segment. The appearance looks sturdy and muscular, but is still wrapped in a modern touch that gives a premium impression.

On the front, this car is equipped with a horizon light bar grille that is combined with modern lighting animations. This element further strengthens the adventurous character that Jetour wants to highlight.

The Jetour T1 i-DM uses 235/60-sized tires combined with 19-inch rims. The combination not only strengthens the tough look, but also supports the stability of the vehicle when crossing various road conditions.

In terms of dimensions, this SUV has a fairly large size for the medium SUV class. The car has a length of 4,705 mm, a width of 1,967 mm, a height of 1,840 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,800 mm.

Entering the cabin, the driver will be greeted by a 15.6-inch touchscreen powered by the Snapdragon 8155 processor and Tour 2.0 OS operating system. Meanwhile, the 10.25-inch digital instrument panel presents various vehicle information clearly and easily monitored.

Convenience is also a concern through the presence of a panoramic skyroof that makes the cabin feel more spacious, for the i-DM variant. Not only that, there are 45 storage spaces designed to support user needs in daily activities and long-distance travel.

The Jetour T1 i-DM relies on the fifth-generation Acteco 1.5 TGDI engine developed specifically for the hybrid system. Unlike conventional engines that are only combined with electric motors, the drive unit was designed from the start to work harmoniously with the electrification system.

Jetour claims its gasoline engine is capable of producing 136 PS of power with 220 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the electric motor contributes 240 PS of power and 310 Nm of torque. The source of electrical power comes from a lithium ferro phosphate (LFP) battery designed to store and distribute energy efficiently.

"Interest in electrification continues to grow. But at the same time, there are still many consumers who are concerned about mileage, charging infrastructure, and the flexibility of using electrified vehicles in daily activities," said Marketing Director of PT Jetour Sales Indonesia Moch. Ranggy Radiansyah, in Tangerang, Wednesday, June 3.

For the electric motor itself, it can travel 100 Km, and if combined with a conventional engine it becomes 1,200 Km. This technology is claimed to offer better safety because of its more stable battery characteristics and is not easily subject to excessive temperature increases.

The battery also supports fast charging. According to Jetour, the charging process from 30 percent to 80 percent only takes about 27 minutes using DC fast charging.

Meanwhile, charging from 30 percent to full takes about 180 minutes via AC charging. In addition, the battery used has bagged IP68 certification so it has protection against dust and water, as well as offering good durability when faced with various road and weather conditions.

"Currently, the market is in a transition phase towards full electrification. Consumers need efficient vehicles, comfortable to use, provide optimal driving experience, and remain flexible for long-distance travel. This is where i-DM becomes the starting point of our development. We present hybrid technology with a way of work that is adaptive to travel conditions, so users don't have to adapt to technology. Instead, the technology will adapt to user needs," concluded Ranggy.

In addition to the hybrid version, Jetour also markets the T1 variant of the TGDI turbo gasoline engine with the same capacity, 1,500 cc. The engine can produce 170 PS at 5,500 rpm and 270 Nm of torque at 2,000-3,500 rpm.
